    HB,
At least your wife wants you at home! Lifting at 10pm sucks, but sometimes it's the only time I can get to the gym (Thank God I have access to one at odd times). Hang in there.
A child does not learn to squat from the top down. In other words, he does not suddenly make a conscious decision one day to squat. Actually, he is squatting one day and make the conscious decision to stand. Squatting precedes standing in the developmental sequence. This is the way a child's brain learns to use the body as the child develops movement patterns. Therefore, a child is probably crawling, rocks back into a squatting position with the back completely relaxed and the hips completely flexed, and stands when he has enough hip strength. This approach makes a lot of sense and can be applied to relearning the deep squat movement if it is lost. -Gray Cook

I usually hit my delts and triceps heavy on DE bench day but I didn't get that workout in this week.

The thing about my wife is she is partially disabled. She had two severe herniated disks in her lumbar and they would not heal. She literally could not walk for a year leading up to the point where we made the decision to have a fusion done across three vertebra. The first surgery did not heal properly and de3veloped scar tissue which crimped the nerves going down her right leg. The pain was severe and she lost all control and movement in the leg.
We got several opinion from other surgeons and we made the decision to have the fusion redone. Now it’s been a couple months and she’s recovering much better then the first time around. She is so weak that she needs to go to physical therapy full time. She does not want to go so I’m in the process of trying to convince her.
All of these problems have required her to be on a lot of narcotic pain killers and the fact that she has been living like this for so long has taken a toll on her and I both emotionally and psychologically. She’s very emotionally unstable and I’m just plain tired and overwhelmed with responsibility.

If it weren’t for the gym I don’t think I could do it and it’s become very difficult for me to justify the time it takes. She should realize that I need the gym but she’s very selfish and the pain meds render her very unreasonable and she doesn’t even realize it.

I really appreciate the interest in my lifting.
    Thanks.

I posted a video of me pressing 405x3 which I thought was pretty good.

Do me a favor and check out some of the comments I have received especially a guy called rockman50.

I can't imagine the amount of responsibility that your wifes medical problems must put on you and the stress it puts on both of you. Your more a man then most, for how you take responsibility like that.

Some of those comments had me laughing so hard in real life. The best one was that "what you dont see is the other side, which as ZERO plates".

I'd be willing to be that benching 4 plates on one side and none on the other is harder then actually benching 405.

Then rockman50, you can rest assured this is some 15 year old kid barely repping 135 so their would be no reason for him to attack you (a person who doesn't even know you) over the internet. Or perhaps he's 5'2 and 100 pounds and just pissed off at the world or something.

Disable the comments bro, its a hard choice but thats what Id do. They do provide some pretty good laughs though! Aluminum weights LMAO.
