    anzac day!! whats that!!!!

    love the avi

what are your goals? you compete?
Way down this road, in a gym far away, a young man was once heard to say, "I've repped high and I've repped low, No matter what I do my legs won't grow."

He tried leg extensions, leg curls, and leg presses, too. Trying to cheat these sissy workouts he'd do. From the corner of the gym where the big men train, Through a cloud of chalk and the midst of pain.

Where the big iron rides high and threatens lives, Where the noise is made with big forty fives. A deep voice bellowed as he wrapped his knees, A very big man with legs like trees.

Laughing as he snatched another plate from the stack, Chalking his hands and monstrous back, Said "Boy stop lying and don't say you've forgotten, Trouble with you is you ain't been SQUATTIN"

Anzac Day is dedicated to the ANZAC soldiers that fought in the World Wars.

I love the avi too, dunno who it is

My goals are to get as big and strong as possible - 1500lb total eventually would be awesome. No, I don't compete.

    Thanks, CR.

    Speed Squats
    175 x 2
    175 x 2
    175 x 2
    175 x 2
    175 x 2

Pretty fast, going to continue with this weight for my speed squats.

    Box Squat
    300 x 2
    300 x 2
    300 x 2

Rack Pulls (6 inch below knee)
    395 x 6
    440 x 3
    440 x 3
    460 x 3
    485 x 1 (220kg)

Wow, my strength on rack pulls has come up a fair bit. The 460 sets were pretty easy, so I decided to try my luck with 485 (5 plates per side here in Australia), and I was able to pull a solid rep. 5 plates per side looks sexy

    Leg Press
    570 x 5
    570 x 5
    570 x 5

Wanted to do more here, but gym was closing.

Really enjoyable workout today. For the time being, my squats numbers are going to be fairly low, as I'm really striving to work on my technique and weak points, so just bear with me and the pansy numbers.

    Box Squats
    340 x 1
    310 x 3
    285 x 3
    285 x 3
    265 x 5
    265 x 5

These felt good, and the addition of the box ensured that I hit correct deep with perfect technique. I also had a slight pause on the box between reps, so that definitely made them harder.

    Decided that I'm going to try for 285 x 5 x 5 next time I box squat.

    Flat BB Press
    235 x 3
    220 x 5
    220 x 5
    220 x 5
    220 x 5

235 has been plaguing me for a few weeks - I was unable to get past 2 reps. Today, however, I busted through, and it is now my 3RM+.

    DB Rows
    125 x 3
    125 x 3
    125 x 3
    110 x 8
    110 x 8

These were really hard today. I'm gonna need to get straps so that I can hold on to the 125lb+ dumbells.. that or work on my grip. Hmm.

That's all, but It was a really fun workout.
