My stupid little forearm question thread

    Hey everyone,

Quick question that I've yet to read an answer to: how do you measure your forearm?

Sure, we all flex it, but do you keep it extended such that it's parallel with the upper arm or bend it such that it's perpendicular? The former gives me a measurement of 13", the latter 14". That said, you can guess how I like to measure!

Is there a right way? Thoughts? Thanks.

Did you even read his question?

OP, who cares. Go with the one that gives you 14. Just be consistent in which method you use to measure so you can track progress.

I measure it while flexed and at the largest part of the forearm. If you flex so that your fist is pointing out or down, your forearm will be bigger. Take the biggest measurement if it makes you feel special. Just make sure you're measuring the same way and the same place every time. An increase in size is all that matters.

Thanks guys - that's pretty much what I figured. I'll just stay consistent for tracking purposes.

Go with straight arm relaxed with elbow fully extened, easier to get the tape around
