The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Homemade gym equipment

Hi,after much consideration i have decided to make my own gym equipment,ie preachers bench, squat rack, lat press ect and i notice that some of you make your own so i was wondering if you could list what i need and the dimensions,i hoping to make most most of the stuff i need for lifting so as much help as possible would be really appreciated.

I have just realised this post is in the wrong section so please feel free to move to it to the appropriate forum.

i have a few things that i could list:

pull up bar made with 1 1/2" metal pipe and various fittings

large tractor tire for flipping and sledge hammer work

tire rigged up as a sled for dragging

of course you can always easily hang a heavy bag for some good cardio

The sled system seems to be quite popular in the states,i appreciate your input that sounds great,do you have any other equipment that you have made that could benefit me?i live about 20 miles from the nearest gym and the prices for gym memberships over her are beyond belief so i would much rather make the equipment i need.

Sandbags, sleds, chop wood, eat healthy, and do some cardio. Buy a nice bike, go riding. Do hill climbs. And save up money for a gym. All you need is 600lbs in weight, bench press, some dumbbells (changeable ones like the ones you can add weight on to.) squat rack and that's about all.

This man speaks the truth. There is so much you can do with so little stuff. I went there and it helped me. There is tons of information on this site, but it's always good to be diverse.

It's all about the shape you will have. We all wish we could be something, but it's about what you make yourself. Good luck.
