Is it ok to lift upperbody today, even though I can barely walk?*

*exaggeration. But as it is, I can't remember the last time my legs were so sore (mostly my calves).

Anyways I remember reading something about it being bad to lift when you're still sore. But the plan for today was to work Chest, Biceps, and Abdominals. Since that doesn't require any energy from my legs, is it ok to lift today? Or should I wait til tomorrow?

Of course it's okay to train today. They're totally different muscles you're training then the ones that are sore. Although DOMS should not determine whether or not you should train that muscle again.

I read somewhere the body had to be totally healed before it could grow more muscle, but I don't know if there's truth in that. Can someone please tell me if thats right or wrong?

Dont train upper body, just do some more squats
Being a strong teenager means nothing.

My wrists hurt, but some people don't have wrists to be sore. My knees have tendinitis, but some people don't have legs to get tendinitis in. I seem to be going backwards with training, yet some people can't even walk let alone lift 400 pounds on a daily basis.

Dust out the vagina, and keep on lifting.
