I've got a question on some knee pain I've been dealing with for some time now, 7 years to be exact. It all started with bball in gradeschool. One night after practice I noticed a sharp, knife like pain in my left knee. I thought it was only temporary, but I was wrong. It's lasted over the years, coming and going, sometimes in the the form of a dull, swollen up feeling after running or a sharp pain like I originally felt every once in a while. Now when I started squats in the fall, the problem has gotten better, but before I did squats this Friday, I felt this sharp pain again on my warmups. Wierd thing is that after my knees were warmed up the pain went away for the most part, and I was fine afterwards. It still comes and goes though...any idea what this could be from? What kind of injury is this that I've dealt with? Messed up cartilage in my knee?
Weight:~160 @ 13-15 bf%?....starting figure after nearly a year of battling CFS/mono...so not too bad imo.
Don't know anymore..don't care atm.
perhaps a knee tracking issue? I had that problem when I tore up my MCL.
I have a similair problem with my knees that's been going on for 5 years since I was 15. I've never had them checked out by a doctor so I cant provide any insight into the actual problem but I have found that a glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate and a calcium supplement to help.
