    excersizes with lower back pain

so i hurt my back deadlifting about 3 weeks ago...i went in today thinking i could start over...i was resting the entire 3 weeks, icing my back, stretching, ect...i went to squat 135 for warmup...it was good, go up to 205 for my usual second warmup, and the first thing is once i hit parallel, my back is sore again...now i don't want to mess up my back, and i'll just work around it

i could still manage to bench and do pullups, but what other excersizes are possible without hurting my back again? what else should i be doing to relieve the pain....

to specify the pain, it's the lower left part of my back, right next to the spine...i'm pretty sure it's the erectors but not positive

thanks...i can't really think about lifting without doing squats and deads

Reach down between your legs and find a pair of balls. That's what it takes to lift big weights. Genetics is the weak man's excuse for why he sucks at life. Don't be that guy - RhodeHouse

Chances are that you have some nerve impingement due to a disk.

    Or it could be worse.

    Go see a doctor.

In the future you will need to stretch your hamstrings very well and use better form.
