    Squats and Pectineus muscle

    I've been noticing lately that when doing squats my pectineus muscle (I think this the correct muscle) gets really sore from them. I've never had this problem before, it just started a few weeks ago. Would this indicate maybe my form is bad (I've really trying to perfect my form lately, so it could be an indicating of correct form?), or maybe I'm not warming up enough before squats.

    some groin stretches may help work it out. I don't think it is used very much in a squat.

    Yeah, mesmall, that's what I was thinking about the muscle not being used very much, so that's why I'm so puzzled as to why it hurts when doing squats and then sore a few days later like it was really worked hard.

    Its a hip adductor and flexor; squats would target it mainly as a stabilizer and antagonist.

    I used to have pain there sometimes after my speed squats. I cant remember exactly what i did to fix it though. Maybe more warmups?
    I wear my squat suit when doing speed squats now so it keeps everything compressed.
