The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    f**ing love handles

In 3 montsh of cardio I almost got rid of my love handles. But now in my bulk up phase they seem to show up again. I dont want to run on treadmill for 30 minutes every workout day for I know I will lose muscles also. Is there any specific way to 'CURE' my love handles? Or I should just leave it for my cutting down phase which will start after 2 months.

Have you tried doing sidebends and/or russian twists? Those help develop your obliques.

on the downside it sounds like it could be genetic, your body wants to store fat there. Guys suck that way

There is no way to cure them. When people gain fat they gain the fat in different areas. Your area seems to be your love handles. The best and most effecient way to bulk and not gain love handles is to bulk at the perfect amount of calories to where you gain the most minimal amount of fat possible..maxamizing muscle gain..therefore making your love handles not be fatty.

I always thought that doing sidebends would make love handles stick out more as the muscle got bigger. I think the only way to get rid of htem is to lose bodyfat.

I also heard doing weighted side bends would build the oblique muscles (and form a curve of hard muscles). I personally prefer "straight" cut looks from sides rather than a curve of muscles. I guess I will have to wait for my cut down phase.

    oh yes...those f***ing love handles...

The expression ‘spot reducing’ refers to slimming specific areas of the body by doing certain exercises, but it’s a myth.

The truth is, the exercise you’ve been doing is beneficial, but you can’t ‘burn off’ fat in just one specific body area.

When you burn fat it burns from all over your body, not just one specific area.

When bulking your love handles shouldnt really be getting bigger...your muscles should!

Why dont you post us your bulking diet to give us an idea of what you are eating?

And the first place you gain the fat is the last place you'l lose it.
