    Metal IPF Squatter

i ordered a regular size 48 metal ipf squatter from elitefitness and it was way too tight on my thighs. i can either exchange for a sz 50 or return it and go with a titan centurion ngx+ super when priscilla emails back size measurements.

for those who used titan squat suits, was the sizing chart accurate or did u have the same problem as i did with my metal suit? i would really like to avoid custom tailoring as it takes weeks - months.

heres my measurements if it matters:
    Height: 5'7"
Weight: 193lb give or take a pound.
largest part of thigh: 25.5" using loose string
largest part of butt/hip: 39.5" using loose string
waist: 36" (also my pant size for regular fit)

Dude, I have the same size, and my height and weight is listed below. I had tough time getting the legs seated (and still didn't have them high enough), but it's because the suit is so new. I just need to keep working with it to have it broken in better.

I plan on gaining weight, so this size should work for you also... My legs measure around 25" also. You could exchange it, but you may get better results with the 48 in the long run.

Have you ever worn a suit before? They're meant to be ultra tight. If you can get it on by yourself then generally it's too small. Is somebody having to help you into it?

I have a size 52 Metal Pro. I weigh 230lbs with 26-27" thighs and my suit is loose. Don't get me wrong, it's tight but I can get in it by myself. It'll leave bruises on my legs but it is too loose.

How did you determine it was way too tight? I have the same suit and it hurts like hell the first few times you use it, presuming you can even get it on.

i had a buddy help getting the bottom half on for minutes but it got too tight to the point where the seam on the left thigh was ripping. i didnt want to force it and damage it so i can still exchange it.

I actually double checked and I have a 50, not a 52. I wear some underarmor or similar spandex underneath it to get it on. Granted, I lift in the APF where you can do that but in practice it couldn't hurt you to try it. That or baby powder.

Also you can purchase suit slippers from most places that sell suits/briefs. They basically are slippery material(like the under armor or compression shorts) that kinda look like stockings. They go up your leg and help you slip the tight suit on. Then you pull them out and do your workout. They help a lot on tight poly's.

Or, like Chris, you can wear your suit slippers to the club

    LOL!

I use garbage bags to get my Champion suit on, at that cuts the circulation off on my legs a good portion. I think its a size 40 and I have 28" legs.
