The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Damn itís not so much the reason he was in jail it was that the people responsible for his care were inept.

He concluded: "Although Jonathan Magbie died from causes currently under investigation, it is clear that his death was the result of the overly punitive laws criminalizing the use and possession of marijuana. There is little doubt that were it not for marijuana prohibition, Jonathan Magbie would still be alive today. He did not deserve to die for smoking marijuana."
wtf is this nut talking about? It wasn't due to "marijuana prohibition", it was due to some morons in the prison system.

Methinks the guy who quipped that it's a marijuana prohibition issue has his own agenda.

EDIT : In case I wasn't clear, it's patently obvious that he supports marijuana legislation and is using this case as a soapbox to stand on.

If you have a small amount of marijuana on you you're obviously a huge danger to society and should be locked up in a cage.

That's damn right hahn. Punishing victimless crimes is always a great way to use tax dollars. Damn I could go on forever on this, but seriously, how can a gov allow alcohol without allowing marijuana? It's just so nonsensical. Drugs should be legal, there's no point in punishing victimless crimes. The war on drugs is a pathetic, sad failure. The DEA thinks it's so slick because it can make some big busts here and there, but the bottom line is that if you don't kill the demand for drugs in this country (which you simply cannot), you won't be able to stop the supply. Even in other countries where you can be put to death for this stuff, people still do it. When are we gonna learn?

I don't think people understand the severity here. Sure, this man may have been paralyzed from the neck down, but he was carrying around the buds and leaves of a plant with him. Have you ever encountered anything more deadly than a man in a wheel chair with a plant leaf? I haven't, and unless you were a ninja spy during the cold war I doubt you have either.

I've never come face to face with this demon plant, but I've heard some horrible stories of those who have. It's crazy the dangerous stuff that comes from nature, isn't it? We seriously need to start pumping more money into this war on drugs so that we can win it!! Once we defeat drugs, we'll be golden!!!

btw hahn, like the new avatar . What kind of mossberg do you shoot? I *LOVE* my 12g mossberg pump (i think a mossberg 2000? It's rare as hell, not a common one), it's actually a piece of history! (used in afghanistan!!! Maybe some day it'll be worth money

Every day that I'm alive I become more and more convinced that 95% of people are either bat**** ****ing crazy or mentally ******ed, or both. A total perversion of justice, reminiscent of a third-world country.

I have friends that have been busted and all they get is some probabtion and fines, no jail time.

I really want to cut that judge's balls off. The guy was a quadriplegic, I don't even see how he could be sentenced to jail in the first place. You'd think there's a limit as to medicial conditions keeping you out. If the guy is freaking paralyzed, do you think sitting in a jail cell is going to be any different than sitting in his house? He's completely paralyzed, he can't go out and do anything. Jail wouldn't even be punishment for him. The justice system is such a ****ing joke in the US anymore, words cannot describe.

You can't blame the judge its a clear cut law and he was just doing his job which I think allot of people don't understand when it comes to law. You have to blame the politicians that ran campaigns to enact these laws and the people who supported them.

    This raises alot of questions:

Who rolled em and held it to his mouth for him to smoke?

Who left it in his possession for the cops to find?

Why would he get time for smoking?

There has to be more to the story..

I think the people who provided his care should be criminally held responsible. This is murder.

Didn't the article say he couldn't breath on his own? What was he doin smoking anyway. Its a miracle.
The victim, Jonathan Magbie, had been paralyzed from the neck down since the age of four, was unable to breath on his own, and required nursing care 20 hours a day.
