The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

That's sick bro! It's not even like you are built to bench. Skinny with long arms like me, only your bench owns mine. Nice job and GL at the meet.

Thanks guys! This is the strongest I've been since I hurt my shoulder back in March... feeling very good about it. Ever since I've been taking videos of my lifts I feel like my form has improved a lot. Like here I notice that my arch is terrible!!

They just look long 'cause he's a skinny mofo.

That was an awesome bench, there, man. I'd say you'll be good for 260 at the meet, or whatever is the closest metric equivalent (if it's a few lbs higher, I'd try for the slight PR). Work on that arch!

To the rest of you all that say I'm skinny... I'm not. If you think I am... then clearly you don't know what the word skinny means. Seriously... a bunch of haters because I'm not ripped or big.

Fantastic press. To keep your arch intact really drive you upper back and traps into the bench before you lift off. Then with the help of your spotter just squeeze the bar out of the racks, this should help keep your back tight which will help keep the arch.

Haha face it man. You're skinny, I'm skinny, heck Chris Rodgers is skinny. Doesn't mean we can't be strong lol. Sadly I don't have that either.

Big bench, so close to double bodyweight. Just a question, would that pass in a comp? Either way, good luck at your meet and you're a strong "skinny" dude.

EDIT: Just watched the vid again and you look a lot bigger than 135.
