    Play the newbie

    Sorry if this seems like a very basic question, but I was doing arms day on WBB#1 yesterday and found that I could rest for less time between sets (obviously) if I did the workout like this:

    Bicep curl (bicep)
    Military press (shoulder)
    Narrow grip bench (tricep)
    Seated Dumbbell press (shoulder)
    hammer curl (bicep)
    French press (tricep)
    Lateral raises (shoulder)

    So, basically varying the muscles I'm working during the workout, rather than doing all shoulders, all triceps, all biceps. My question would be is there an advantage to working all one muscle at a time, or is it ok for me to be varying them like this?

    Maybe if your going to do it like that I would do it like this just so the tri's don't tire out limiting your shoulders.

    military (shoulder)
    barbell curls (Bi's)
    seated dumbbell press (Shoulder)
    CGBP (tri's)
    hammer curls (Bi's)
    french press (Tri's)
    lateral raises (shoulders)
    375/300/365 Goal by summer:415/315/415

    It does. Only one day out of the week though.
