Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

If you were to ask for a book, I would recommend Starting Strength.

However, since you asked for articles...

Mastering the Deadlift: Part I, Part II, Part III.
    Learning the Squat

Also, a quick search on T-Nation for good mornings came up with this article:
    http://www.t-nation.com/readTopic.do?id=931745

There is also an article on correcting a lot of deadlifting problems on T-nation. Search for it and you should find it. They have tons of great articles and you should find more than enough information in them. After reading, if you still have questions, feel free to ask here.

Focus on pushing your ass back and keeping your shoulders back, and it'll be a lot harder to lose that arch.

Also is your upper body supposed to be perpendicular to the floor at all times during a squat? As I go down would it be alright to bend it a little forward?

Wow, do I feel stupid. I've been to that site plenty of times and went to the article section, but never noticed they had sub-categories at the side that led you to a ton more articles.

Looks like I'm going to be doing a lot of reading as well.

    Yes.
