WBB Fantasy Football 2008 - 4th year running

    Hello all,

With Bako_Lifter starting his league, I was reminded to start this year's version of my WBB (and friends) fantasy football league.

    The league URL: http://football.fantasysports.yahoo....ague/wbb_year4

    League name is wannabebig
    Password: PM me for it.

The prize: an At Large gift pack including Nitrean and ETS.

    The rules:
We've changed slightly from last year based on feedback about the league settings. Fewer teams and smaller benches should result in a more balanced league. If there's enough demand (i.e. 12 teams ain't enough), I may include a second league.

We play with IDPs, & head to head scoring.

All previous players that finished seasons are welcome to return. We probably won't accept WBB members that haven't been around long enough for us to get to know them (mostly because we hate quitters!!!).

    The official rules

Don't worry about sending an invite to me Relentless. I don't think I'll hop on this bus right now. Got a bunch of stuff I've got to do next semester.

Invites sent to most people that replied.

One or two folks that are very new -- don't give up hope yet. I would like to hold open the league for vets and returning players and essentially those that have proven themselves at least somewhat reliable. Keep an eye on this thread and assuming there's room, I'll getcha in a little later on. Again, if there's enough interest I may start a 2nd league.

It's a she and she's my daughter so yeah I vouch for her.

She knows her football as almost as well as I do and has helped me run teams in the past. She'll definately see the season through if that's a concern. Between August and February every Sunday/Monday our home becomes this FF think tank.

Let me know if there's room for her. If not no biggie - I understand some guys don't like losing to girls.

    I'm in and signed up!

Is it really 50 passing yards for 1 point? Was it like that last year?

I was thinking, we could just not have the league and declare me the winner right now? It would save you all some frustration.

First off - I apologize for not updating this as much as I should have. Funerals, highland games and work have all sucked a lot of time out of my life in the last 3 weeks.

I also think I lost a couple of PMs...

All right fellas, we have 12 people in the league right now and we're good to go. Our teams are:

    World Wide Webbs (MrWebb)
    Inferno (wikked1)
    Atoms (bg5150)
Jacobites (daniel, returning from last season)
Kanata MightyNutts (daniel's pal, new this season)
    Packers FTW! (yankeekd25)
    Pissing Razors (stray... I think)
    Bako's Broncos (BakoLifter)
G-Men (not sure who this is...?)
    Zen (zen)
    Kickbacks (MisslesGo)
    Relentless' Raiders (Me)

Now, if your name is not on this list and you're still interested in playing FFootball with WBB types, post in this thread. If we get enough for another league, I'll start a second one up.
