    french presses and weighted dips

Is it just me, or do weighted dips seem to be a much more productive exercise than french press? BGB calls for a 5x5 of one or the other on day 4....would I be better off alternating them weekly, or stick with dips since I feel a more complete hit from them?

Dips are awesome. In the time I've been lifting I've basically built my triceps and chest with flat bench and dips alone. I've tried french press but I get a slight pain in my elbow that I'd rather do without.

Dips are better IMO. Just throw in the FP for variety once ina while.
