The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

From DB to BB bench and no more DOMS?

I can usually count on being sore after I do DB Bench. I have not BB benched in some time due to shoulder injury and after rehabbing it etc I BB benched and am not sore. I always get sore after I lift, almost no matter what. Always stretch before and after, warmup for 10 mins on bike and warm down 10 mins on bike. I was pushing 2 95lb dbs and went to BB benching 185 and do not feel any DOMS. My question is did I not bench hard enough? (since I always get sore otherwise)

    More weight, wider grip.
Out of the night that covers me,Black as the Pit from pole to pole,I thank whatever gods may be for my unconquerable soul. In The fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance my head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears looms but the horror of the shade And yet the menace of the years finds, and shall find, me unafraid. It matters not how strait the gate how charged with punishments the scroll,I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.

Well, I am sitting around and am getting this dull aching pain in my left shoulder. on scale from 1 -10 its like a 4-5. I'm kinda upset about this. Actually I am really pissed about this. I guess it may be back to DBs. It is the same pain that made me stop BB bench. Any suggestions out there?
