The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Weight Lifting affecting juggling

Hey, I am not sure if this is the right spot to type this or if I am just being a complete fool. But I have been weight lifting on and off for a year and this summer and going in to next year I am really stepping it up. I am getting on the WBB 1. Well I am in a circus and I juggle. I do single person juggling and passing (juggling with 2+ people). I am still able to do the single person juggling every day but my passing partner will be gone all summer so I wont have a chance to do passing. I am wondering if the added muscle I am hoping to put on will throw off my throws at all in juggling. For example I do an 8 club pattern where the clubs have to be a perfect height with 3 rotations before it gets to the other person. This took me many many hours to achieve. I guess I am just wondering if the added muscle will throw off the muscle memory. I am probably just worrying myself too much about this I just don't wan't to digress any in skill.

You may take his head clean off.
    Nah, you'll be fine.
Out of the night that covers me,Black as the Pit from pole to pole,I thank whatever gods may be for my unconquerable soul. In The fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance my head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears looms but the horror of the shade And yet the menace of the years finds, and shall find, me unafraid. It matters not how strait the gate how charged with punishments the scroll,I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.

Well basketball player's shots are sometimes messed up when they weightlift without practicing their shot. So maybe you should find another partner to juggle with?

Kobe its a pretty serious question.

If you keep doing single person juggles you should be fine I think.

I can't see how increasing strength and muscle mass would be detrimental to your juggling.

Keep juggling while working out. I did not play BB for a while after getting serious into lifting then one day I went out with the boys and kept throwing the ball over the net and back board completely. The balance was messed up but I did not practice while I trained.

I agree. I mean, instead of just juggling balls, you could possibly move up to bowling balls, then women, then motorcycles!

    I'd pay to see that.
