I want to eat only chicken. ...and bread.

I want to go on an only chicken diet, I remember a quote from a bodybuilding website where it said something about eating the same food over and over.
Anyway, I have these chicken wings that taste incredible. Here are the nutritional facts:

    Per 3 Chicken Wings:
    9g fat
    20g protein
    160 cal

I'm thinking I eat 9 every meal. And for carbs I'm going to eat whole wheat bread and drink juice.

    So that would be(per day)
180g of protein, 81g fat, 1440Cals + the bread and juice. which should add to around 2500cals.

Now this may not seem like a lot to you guys, but I'm 5'10" at 140lbs, I think I can gain off this. Is there any downside from eating only chicken?

That's the dumbest idea I've ever heard... You'll very quickly some severe nutritional deficiencies unless you supplement with the appropriate vitamins and minerals.

Yea I already eat green veggies and tomatoes and that stuff.

To the guy who told me I'll suffer nutritional defficiencies. My normal diet consists of
    Whole Wheat Bread
    Eggs
    CHICKEN
    Bologna
    Salads

That's it, and I'm healthy. So I doubt it'll be a big problem if I take out the eggs and bologna.

First of all, your new "diet" would gel old fast.

Second of all, your current "diet" is crap.

    Ok, go for it...

I guarantee you'd be healthier and see better progress if you ate more greens and a more balanced diet in general.

Would any of you criticizing be more specific? "It sucks," is pretty poor reasoning.

I mean, if he were to say, add a multi-vitamin and supplement some fiber, why wouldn't he be okay? Sure it would get old REALLY fast, but that's not the point.

He could also add a protein shake in there somewhere, and with a good quality protein supplement, you do get a good amount of vitamins in.

I would DEFINITELY eat more than 2,500 calories if I were you. Lean chicken breasts are going to be better for you than wings everyday. You should make a weekly menu...

Tuna, Chicken Breasts, Your Wings, other lean meats, eggs, protein shakes, you need to eat a lot more fruits and vegetables too.

You may look "healthy" but the diet you're currently consuming doesn't really sound very well rounded.

yes, dumb indeed, I thought it was a joke.
    To the OP:
How do you know you are healthy? Did you consult a nutritionist? a dietian? a damn general practioner? Do you have blood work for the results of your new diet? Where do you get your...say...omega 3, vitamins, minerals etc.? And sure there are many people who eat the same thing over and over again, they dont get bigger, healthier, stronger, no... they get scuurvy.

you wanted advice...SO *****ING TAKE IT

He registered here 2 and a half years ago, which is plenty of time to have read a thread or two in the diet forums, or even discovered the articles at wannabebig.

    That's why they are harsh.
    Squats work better than supplements.
"You know, if I thought like that, I'd never put more than one plate on the bar for anything, I'd never use bands or chains, I'd never squat to parallel or below, and I'd never let out the slightest grunt when I lift. At some point in your lifting career (assuming you're planning on getting reasonably strong and big), you're going to have to accept that most people think you are some kind of freak." -Sensei
