Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Cardio??

I Know if I did some reserching I could find out but I wanted to get everyones opinion on it. I usually do cardio about 4 times a week on the tredmil or eliptical pretty high intensity for about 20 min. which I know isnt the best for gaining mass which i am going for but I am in the marine corp and fitness is a pretty big thing and the pull ups and crunches are easy on the PFT so i was just wandering when would be the best to do cardio. Pre Workout? Post? or in the morning seprate from workout maybe? I usually lift around 6 after I get off of work. So maybe during lunch time? Also swimming as cardio any thoughts on that?

If it's real high intense cardio ideally it should be done on its own day. If this is not possible doing it on leg days at least 5 or so hours from your workout would be good. Doing it right after your workout on lower body days isn't a bad idea either. The thing is, high intensity cardio can be quite the leg workout, and you don't want to comrpomise recovery.

You may want to read it and incorporate some things in there. Instead of doing high intensity cardio 4x a week, try mixing some other things in there.

Also swimming as cardio any thoughts on that?
    Swimming is great for cardio.

Yeah, I actually just woke up.

Also, swimming is actually definitely my favorite type of cardio. No impact at all on joints and stuff, I enjoy it, and I don't sweat my ass off because I'm in water.
