    Taking a Nap

    I alot of times take naps about an hour n half before i got to the gym due to my work I dont get off in time to take a nap any ealier. I dont always nap just on days I feel really wore out. I was just wandering if anyone had any opinions on this or when would be the best time to take a nap and or if its even good to take one before a workout. Also how long should a nap be. I usually take a 20-30 min nap sometimes i feel worse afterwards though. Anyone willing to throw in some opinions or thoughts on this?

    I don't know if there is a bad time to take a nap or not. I personally get out of work at 4 everyday, eat, then take a nap until around 630. After that i head to the gym. It seems to really help, i always feel great. Just my personal experience but hope it is of some help.

    that is close to what i do as well. I usually feel better taking a nap but i usually wake up only an hour or so before I go to the gym so I dont think I wait long enough before I go to the gym. Like i said sometimes i wake up and im just as tired if not more sometimes. Usually doesnt matter if im tired or not cause once i get to the gym and start lifting I get pumped up anyway.

    Dude, napping will completely screw you up... It breaks down muscle mass and lowers testosterone levels... I read it on bodybuilding.com so it must be true!

    And now for my real answer:

    I love napping! I always have good workouts after a nap even if I wake up and go straight to the gym

    If i can I nap.I get up every morning around 4:00am.If i can get a nap in I do.

    I use to get off work at 3:30, get home around 4, eat something really quick, take a nap for an hour starting at 4:15, head to the gym around 6 or 6:30. I liked the results.

    There is never a wrong time to take a nap.

    Ive taken one or two while driving a car, that didn't end well.

    naps will be nothing but good for you. i take a 30-45 minute nap after work everyday. i always feel ready to hit the gym when i wake up.

    I need my naps! I'm up at 3:30am and not done with work until 4pm. Coffee afterwards also helps warm up my body and pumps my just enough.
