The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Today was super rough at first, 345 felt like a ton. I then added a box and again 275 felt like it was 405, but I keep working up and after my 315x5, which felt awesome, I threw 365 on there.

Hoping to get my squats moving back up in the right direction.

This week was rough, Traveled to Dallas, TX on Tuesday for work. Had to be up at 4 am to catch my flight, so I didn't get my lower session in. Was out drinking until 12:30 last night then got up at 3:45 to catch my flight back.

Still managed to fit in a decent session. I'm SO excited to sleep tonight.

I hear you, it seems like recently my training schedule has been way out of whack, but as long as I'm consistent I think I can maintain properly.

I really went balls to the wall today and it turned out better than I expected. 405 felt like a ton, 435 was super slow and I didn't think 455 was possible, but I put it on and pulled away. 365x8 was brutal and my thumbs were screaming. Everything was done with a reset at the bottom, I'm not into the touch and go.

No PRs recently, but still some strong workouts.

I broke a dumbbell once on incline pressing because I threw it down after I failed on a set way before I thought I would. I felt like a douchebag, but damn was I pissed.
