The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

You are putting some serious numbers on your box squat these days. Do you feel like it transitions well into raw still? Regardless, good stuff, man.

I haven't done a raw squat in a while, but it's certainly helping my deadlift. I figure as long as something's moving, stick with it.

    Thank you sir!

I was able to get a lot of volume in before my arm started to act up. It's better than it last month, and last month it was better than the previous. As I mentioned before, I started to use gua sha to help speed the process and hopefully get some better results.

I took a picture of my arm after the treatment then a few hours later, it's crazy. It doesn't hurt, yet. I'm sure tomorrow will be a bitch, but i'm not really using it for a few days.

I had no idea what gua sha was, so I did a google search. I'm terrified now. You are a brave man.

Ha, I appreciate that. My girlfriend introduced me to deep tissue massages (she's a PT), but they use the Graston Technique and tools. I can't afford the tools and I'm not a PT, OT, or Chiro, so they won't sell me the tool even if I could afford them. Gua sha is much much cheaper, but same results.

I may deload this coming week as it will be week 4. 3 weeks of 50, 55, 60, deload then reset. I've heard a lot of good things from previous posters using westside and deloading on the 4th week.

Any thouths or suggestions are welcome.

    Update:

Girlfriend came up this weekend and started to get sick, took Saturday and Sunday off and am feeling a ton better. Should be back this weekend, may just take the week off and relax.

Side note: Bought my first hunting bow, a Mathews Mission Eliminator II 60-70#. Paid about half of what its worth
