you serious? i can assure you that is not the case. basketball and soccer are both grueling sports. the enhanced recovery from from AAS would be a huge advantage.

I don't know much about soccer, but I know a lot about basketball having played up through high school and I don't see how steroids would be used for strength when the sport is based on speed, quickness, and agility. Maybe some are taking it then. Maybe everyone in the world is on steroids LOL.

some of you guys don't understand. steroids do more than just make you strong or big. they greatly speed up recovery. you don't see how this would be a huge advantage in a sport where you're running up and down a court for an hour or more every night? increased strength is also a plus in any sport. basketball is fairly physical.

But is golf one of those sports? I'm sure it is tiring (seriously) but I wouldn't think it's as taxing on the body as bodybuilding or powerlifting.

I wasn't aware it affects recovery that much to improve basketball performance. Then again I don't use steroids . Learn something new everyday. But yeah basketball is very physical IMO. My career ended breaking both my ankles and being put in a wheelchair. Never had that happen when I played baseball.

Why wouldn't want to run faster, jump higher, be stronger down low, or just be a bigger body overall?

I agree that steroids wouldn't be hugely beneficial in golf, but I think they could help you squeeze out a few more yards here and there. I also think that recovery would be an important benefit for golfers, particularly the older ones.

In Basketball, as in any other sport, it is a great advantage. Unless I missed it, it has not been mentioned that AAS will only make you bigger if your diet (calories) can support it. If you are not actively increasing the calories to support the muscle growth you will not be "huge." That said the recovery and relative strength increase compared to other players that are apporoximately your size would be the major advantages.

yes, despite being really cool, steroids don't allow one to break scientific laws.
