Cheat Your Heart Out: Eat What You Want and Lose Fat

Has 'project beach body' hit a brick wall? When fat loss inevitably slows down or stalls, most revert to eating even less and doing more cardio.

However, strategic cheating could just be your answer to really strip off the fat further. How would you like to lose fat while still eating some of your favorite foods? Pizza? Check. Cookies? Sure.

Results is BACK and BETTER

We are really pleased to announce that Results is back!

We really appreciate everyone's patience whilst we have been out of stock. As some of you will know there have been some complications with previous batches of Results, so we wanted to take our time and make sure everything was right from now on.

New Flavour - Tropical Punch!

The old Cherry and Orange flavours are now gone and we have a new flavour - Tropical Punch! Part of the reason for the delay in bringing Results back was because we wanted to come up with a flavour that would really wow you and we believe the new Tropical Punch will do exactly that. It's nice and fruity and sweet, but not too sweet!

Small Change in Formula

We would get feedback from customers from time to time letting us know that they felt the 80 grams of Dextrose per serving was a little high. The Dextrose is an important part of the formula because it is this carbohydrate that spikes insulin for optimal use of each gram of creatine ingested.

However, we wanted to take on board the feedback and after some careful review we felt we could back the dextrose down to 50 grams without a negative effect, so this is exactly what we have done. Each serving now contains 50 grams of Dextrose per serving, in turn also reducing the calories from 320 to 200 calories. Apart from that, the formula remains unchanged as you can see below:

Three Tips for Better Sleep

Every now and then we need to remember, there's a reason the night falls. As much as we like to think it's for long nights of Halo, internet porn and heavy drinking, it's actually for sleeping, which is really good for you.

In fact, it's so good for you, much research suggests:

  • sleep is the most anabolic time period your body will ever undergo
  • sleep elevated growth hormone and repairs tissues
  • sleep decreases stress and improves memory
  • sleep increases the immune system and endocrine function
  • sleep decreases body fat levels by restoring critical hormonal functions
  • sleep regulates a healthy sex drive
  • sleep offers an opportunity to do things you couldn't actually do, like fly- ok, those are dreams, and we live for those right?

What's that? Can't sleep you say?

Try these 3 tips for better sleep, and in turn, better guns and harder abs!

1) Lose the booze before bed.

Alcohol may help you fall asleep quicker, but for some is a guaranteed midnight alarm clock. If you're noticing a consistent awakening a few hours before you should, and you're having a few before bed time, try cutting out the beverages for a few days and see if you start sleeping solid through the night.

2) Turn out that damn light!

We live in a ridiculous world of lights, gadgets, cell phones, ipods, laptops, flat screens etc. Get your room as dark as possible, and if you hear something electrical running that's not your body, shut it off! Consider even turning your alarm clock face down and forgetting about it. It goes off religiously right? Then relax, it'll still go off like it should when it's time to wake up.

3) Try reducing stimulants a few hours before bed.

This includes all stimulants. Caffeine, weight lifting, the movie “Heat”, the movie “Busty Barbell Beauties”, angry phone calls, stressful homework (not an excuse not to do it, just do it earlier in the day like good boys and girls), etc. etc. Try to lend your mind relax. Read something enjoyable, meditate, write, listen to chill music, whatever. Just try to relax and not get excited.

Do what you need to do, but know that better sleep means better gains in the gym, and a longer life. Enjoy!

The Hardcore Finisher – 2 Circuits to Burn Fat

Some guys are just masochistic. They hammer their bodies every time they go to the gym and don't feel like they've accomplished anything if they're not nearly coughing up their lungs when they're finished. To these guys, the term "rest period" doesn't apply.

If this describes you (or if you just want a really hardcore fat-burning workout) get ready for two "finishers" that'll have you face down on the floor with a smirk on your face.

(Note: Finishers are done at the very end of your workout. Hence the word "finisher." So don't try these at the beginning of your workout for a warm-up. Fair warning.)

Leg Matrix

Popularized by strength coach Alwyn Cosgrove, the leg matrix is a hellish lower-body circuit that tests your tolerance for lactic acid (the burning heavy feeling in your legs) and is guaranteed to put some swagger in your step.

Perform each exercise back-to-back with no rest and make sure to time yourself.

  • 24 squats
  • 24 lunges
  • 24 jumping lunges
  • 24 jump squats

If you're feeling extra mean, you can do another round. Rest twice as long as it took you to do your first set, though. (So if it took you 2:30 seconds to complete the entire leg matrix, you'd rest for 5 minutes before repeating.)

Push-up/Squat Ladder

This is your ticket for a full-body pump that also works great for bets. (Bet your friend 5 bucks that he can't complete the following in under 2 minutes. Then be nice and buy him a protein shake.)

  • 1 squat, 1 push-up
  • 2 squats, 2 push-ups
  • 3 squats, 3 push-ups
  • 4 squats, 4 push-ups
  • Continue until you've done 10 reps of each exercise.

These circuits will satisfy even the toughest guy and make most muscleheads cry for their mommies. Perform them at your own risk.

Beginner with bench shirt. Help please
