Why does the CKD diet say say to load up on carbs for 1.5 days ? Is this because it takes this long for all the glycogen to get replenished in the muscles..?

Does it matter what type of carbs to eat in those 1.5 days ? Could you simply drink like 8 bottles of gatorade throught the whole day - or would that cause some of the carbs to go into fat. My big concern is despite my muscles having no glycogen the carbs will not go to them but will go to fat instead.
