View Full Version : Do i need as much protein on rest days???

Quick question guys. I weigh about 100 kilos, and have been trying to aim for 2.75 grammes of protein per kilo of bodyweight as part of my diet for bodybuilding.
That means i need to eat about 275 grammes of protein a day. This is alot of protein, i was just wondering if i take a day off for rest or have to miss 2 or 3 days in a row even for any particular reason, should i still continue to eat as much protein or should i drop it down a bit for rest days?

Your muscles grow on your off days, so yes.
