I'm 225 & want to get to 195. Since im 6'4, i'll probably be skinny(put on muscle later). My question is should I even bother watching what I eat or just eat less while losing weight? Which is faster?

Ok, my interpretation of what you are saying is this:
Should I count calories, or just try to eat less food without all the hassle of counting calories.

If that is the case, then counting calories and being exact with your diet will yield better results (read: faster). However, if it's not worth it to you to take the time time to weigh, measure all of your food, you can still lose weight by just eating less and even better, eating the right food.
