I weigh about 230lbs. and I’m 6' 2" and 19 years old. I would like to slim down about 15lbs but I was on the Carbohydrate diet while I was lifting and everybody says that it takes your muscle away also. But if I have a lot of carbs I get fatter around the waist area. What should I do to slim down a little but not lose muscle. Anybody have any good diets that have worked for them or is not eating but 20-30 carbs a day alright to do. Thanks!!!

having carbs in your system will typically keep muscle, not lose it.
however, if you don't mind 20g of carbs a day and eating big meals a few times a week, try the Natural Hormonal Enhancement Diet by Rob Faigin. It'll rip ya up nicely.
You can check out my journal on it if you need more info:

dont cut down carbs lower than 150g if you ask me.. keep eating protein about every 2 hours if possible... as long as you are eating a lot of protein and some carbs you wont catabolize unless you overdo cardio
