Death.
think of all the hard work we put into our bodies, never missing as meal, training like madmen, sacraficing things we love to reach our goals...
then, when we die, all that hard work goes down the drain. we are reduced to a pile of bones within days.
just thought i would depress you poeple that are too happy :)

Yes, I must admit that it is depressing for you but for us who'll die with satisfaction of having lived a life with alot of skin and action it's just like going to bed after running a marathon.

haven't u guys hear about the glowing monkey? Just hope that they find the gene which causes mortality (some scientists say that there are genes which cause death on purpose) and remove it b4 u die.
also, scientists think that high school students of today can live to 200.

The gene for death? Well sort of, there's a gene reposnible for, well basically the self destruction of the body but it simply acts to speed up the process of death once you've exceeded your usefull reproductive life.
You see the whole idea behind survival is keeping your genes alive so once you're too old to reproduce, you're just talking up space.
But even with this 'removed' it is highly improbable that anyone can live older than 140 due to length of the chromatids in cells whcih basically put a limit on the number of times a cell can divide. Oh and a whole host of other factors.
Hmmmmm.

Yes, but the memory of you lifting weights and building a great body will live on. Example .. .. "My Grandad use to be a bodybuilder you know, he had arms like baboons" ... and so on .....
Cackerot69,
That's how life is. Believe it or not, everyone of us is born with a destiny. Through the life, we are able to change our destiny. I don't know how you can name this change in destiny in english, but I think is Freewill. Does it make any sense ??
We are here to learn and to mature as human being (to grow muscle too...lol) Sometimes we have to learn the hard way. So everytime something bad or good happens we have to take the most from it, learn from it. Death is just a consequence, when your mission is over, it's over. Time will come for everyone. Just enjoy life and don't ever regret about things you have done, but regret about things you have not done!!!
Word from Priest cemm....
Man look at it like Arnold did, even though he was really dumb, he had the right idea. Make something of yourself. You are kicking your ass for a reason, not just to be some nobody, but to go somewhere. Make people remember you for your hard work and dedication by being the best in this sport! You will do it bro.

There are things that no matter how much you worry, wine, ***** it will not do any good. Death comes hand in hand with life. I think death is the only thing I would consider in our destiny.
How I live my life is all in MY hands. How I eat, lifestyle I choose, my morals, career is all in my hands. I can be anyone I want to be and still have to die. I was given this chance to be anything I want to be....a worry wart is not what I choose to be.
I just want to die with a smile on my face from the life that I have lead.

I believe that we should all be here for everyone else. What I perfect place the world would be if your sole purpose was to make people around you happy. I try to do this, but my selfishness sometimes get in the way. Hell ... Im a guy !!! ... but I try ......... It's kinda hard to love ..... with so much to hate.

i'm not worried about death. it's gonna happen sooner or later, the question is are you ready. the answer should be yes. you should always be ready to go when the time comes. we are living on borrowed time, when our chance with time is over then we must let it go. death should not be feared, if you believe in life beyond death then you will know that only the body will die, the soul will live on.
about crying/mourning: it's a natural occurance and yes you genuinely feel sad that the person is gone, but did you realize that beyond the initial mourning you actually start feeling sorry for yourself and put yourself into a state of mind where you think you are going on mourning over this person but you are actually feeling guilty and self pity. guilty for not saying the things you wanted to say, treating the person a different way, keeping in touch with them more, ect. when i die, i don't want people mourning my death but celebrating my life. have a big bbq cookout and music, whatever, just celebrate my being in this word and having the friends and loved ones i do and did. when i go i am going happy, why you ask, i'll finally be out of this sucky word. i'll be in paradise.
sorry to have gone on about death, but this is a sublject in which i have great interest and think very deeply on. the way i see it is it's coming ready or not. live life to the fullest, life is short. enjoy life, don't worry about death.

The way I look at it....
you are born, you grow, you die. everything between birth and death should be a learning experience...
and then to get hindu on your azz, you can always come back and try again.
but then again, you could go the norse route....if you kill enough people during your life, and go out in a blaze of glory you get to hang out in Valhalla when you die drinking mead and partying with beautiful viking chicks.
same goes for the Elysian Fields, except it's wine and not mead.

...sports interview/call-in show. The host resurrected some classic call clips from way back and then was very amused as callers lined up to comment in real time...
...very interesting coincidence ;)
Cack,
I thought I was weird, but this is...(no words to describe).
Jk, it's a good topic to talk about, and I agree with what most of you have been saying.
And Cack, if you are feeling down, don't hesitate to e-mail me or let one of us help you out.
