yeah, just wanted to know how much flax seeds to consume in a day... and another question, whats better, canola or olive oil,,,or is it the same?? :p
Get the Flax Oil, IMO.
Take a few tsp. of that a day and you're good.

i agree with yaz..get the flax seed oil, keep it in your fridge, take 3 tbsps a day...
IMO olive oil is better than canola...it's a monounsaturated fat, as opposed to canola being a polyunsaturated fat.

but flax is mostly polyunsats!
Canola is fine, it has good omega 3 polyunsats.
Flax is the better of the two because it is usually less processed and contains things like vit e
HOwever, i think a monounsat source like peanut butter, or olive oil, should be the mainstay of fat intake.

i thought canola was omega 6s....not 3s.....:confused:
I'm pretty sure canola has more omega-3 than olive oil, which has mainly omega-9 and 6.

y'all are right....i did some research...canola is 3s and 9s...olive oil is primarily 6s and 9s.....so whatever....keep both on hand and use them as you wish....

actually your daily intake of diatary fats (15% or so) can easily be obtained. Most og it (the 15% fat) ill be obtained from eating your protein food. All protein foods contain fat and fat is found in small amounts in all of your carbohydrate foods. Dietary fat from oils can be obtained from PAM to coat cooking skillets and from using lo-fat salad dressing.

Yeah we talked about this before Tryska. What exactly does the flax seed oil give you besides essential fats? What do they do? My friend said it helps you lose bodyfat, but I don't see how.

it does actually increase lypolysis (fat breakdown), along with cell wall repair (helps with recovery), brain cell function, and hormonal stuff.

Olive oil has the bigger monounsaturates concentration.
It raises testosterone,lowers blood sugar levels,lowers the "bad" cholesterol",raises the "good" cholesterol and is superior than peanut butter which has more omega6.
