s'up yall? i've read that creatine fills the muscle cells with water, which has the effect of speeding up recovery time, and also actually making muscles look bigger.

BUT... if you want to be cut, is creatine a bad idea? for instance, i have only a few weeks left on my bulk cycle, then i want to get really cut. is creatine a bad idea right now? and would it be a bad idea once i start my cutting phase?

thanks for any guidance on this subject!!

Well, all I know about creatine is what I've read on this site or others like it, but from the way you've described what it does, how can it impede cutting? It recycles ADP into ATP, giving your muscles more energy and letting you work them more. Also, I'm not sure that the water retention will really effect your cutting either, as youre trying to lose fat rather than weight. I could be wrong, though, as I don't have any experience with creatine.

It will increase water retention, but unless you're prepping for a show , then don't worry about it. Creatine is a good way to keep strength up while cutting.
