Would this form a complete protein? (damn tasty, whether it does or not!) Does anyone know of any sites know of sites that show food combinations that result in complete proteins?

thanks

I believe that yes it would, nuts + grains being one of the combinations. A scoop of protein powder, or making the oatmeal with milk instead of water might be a good idea just to be on the safe side.

Normally I would say I wouldn't worry about the "complete" protein business. Foods contain all amino acids, they are simply limited in some of them. Bear in mind that amino acids will remain in your bloodstream for many hours and those used from a previous meal could be combined with the current. Also a "complete" protein such as meat or dairy will enhance the quality of any "incomplete" protein (not just a case of combining "incomplete" with "incomplete").

However this sounds like a breakfast meal in which case you won't have those aminos waiting around in your bloodstream.
