10 % Ground Beef

I recently started eating 10% fat ground beef (2 day now). I have read that this label can be decieiving as far as the fat content. Can I get some clarification on this please?

BTW, Costco has great deals on 6-8% ground beef, it's only about 10cents more than the fatty ground beef.

I use maverick beef. Its got 4.5g fat for 8oz...

I measured the beef as 5 Oz. cooked which to my figuring was about 12 grams of fat. I am just going to drop it. Dont to want to risk turning into a fat ass.

Laura's Lean Beef is available at places like Albertson's in as low as 5% fat, this yield like 3-4g Fat for 40g Protein.
