I just looked at the back of my gatorade powder and it says that it has partially hyydrogenated soybean and cottonseed oils in it. What the heck is up with this? Isn't gatorade supposed to help athletes and people who work out refill their electrolytes and recover from excersice? And why doesn't gatorade have any fat if it has the oil in it?

It also says "not a significant souce of saturated fat, tansfat, cholesterol, fibre, vitamin A". Mine had Brominated vegetable oil and contains soy ingredients.

I always more concerned with the amount of sugar it contains.

water > gatorade imo.

What kind of Gatorade are you looking at, the "Mountain Dew" flavor? :p

Stick with basic Gatorade (the powder is much cheaper).

I always like a good gatorade after running a 400 in track, it's makes you feel good after.

Umm, that's exactly why bodybuilders use it. Tastes better than straight dextrose.

I didn't exactly get into lifting because the food tastes great.
