I'm not in any kind of "loading-phase", but is it okay to take creatine and not work out that day, like take 5-7g's. Twice already I've taken creatine because I thought I'd be hitting the weights, but things came up and I didn't. So I'm wondering what kind of effects this could have on my body, like fat gain or whatever.

don't worry about fat gain

some of us take it every day

I personally do as I feel it helps me more than taking it on trainign day only

Training days>>>drink it in your post workout-drink.
Off days>>>Yes, take it. Anytime.

Loading? If you want to, but not necessary.
Dose? To keep it simple, 5g daily should do it. (that's a teaspoon).

I take mine in the morning when insulin sensitivity is at its highest ....all it does is draw water into the muscles to create a full look...I thought everyday was pretty much the norm..workout day or not

I'm taking creatine just once a week. It still helps me throughout the week though.
