I'm aware of this and the fix is a little beyond my talents...

But... it will be fixed shortly, bear with me!

Daniel,

This error still persists, so I checked around a bit for some help. I used to run a Vb board for a while, so I have decent experience should you require any help fixing this.

I am still getting this error, but it only occurs with certain search phrases, and I can't seem to find the pattern. Any ideas on this?

I believe it involes using too many variables.

Such as A + B + C = overload

The problem is your server is not allowing vb to use enough memory. Your going to have to edit the php.ini file on your server to change the memory_limit. You will need to ssh into your server to do that (im not sure if this can be done via whm). Or if you dont have your own server ask your webhost to do that (or if you do and have a server admin, talk to him about it).

Can anyone please fix this? It is really annoying when I can't even do a two word search.

Thanks

The search function works fine for me. I'm using Firefox.

Works fine on Apple's OSX (ver 10.3.9) and the Safari and Camino browsers.

I don't think it has anything to do with your browser or operating system...

Once we get this problem fixed it'll help make our forums quite a bit efficient = n00bs doing searches without the excuse of "the search thing isn't working".

Yeah I'm on WinXP but I tried to keep the user interface as close to the earlier Windows versions as possible. I don't like my UI being complex, just simple and effective.

Then just get Mac OS X.

Just got an error searching for "protein one time". It's hard to tell people who ask the same question over and over again just to do a search when it doesn't work.

ok - clearly the change I made did help, but its still occuring for some...

Leave it with me to re-fix.

If it helps you troubleshoot the problem any, I did a search for "cut water weight" without the quotes and it gave the error.

should be fixed now.
