If anyone cares, I've been searching for a long time for dextrose in Japan. Homebrew stores in the USA have dextrose and it's cheap and easy to get, but in Japan homebrewing is vaguely illegal. But anyway after reading some advice on another forum, a beer forum, I found something called "munton's spraymalt". It's a light-yellowish powder [though that could just be the package] and the package says it's about 70% as sweet as sugar [sucrose]. If I assume correctly, this is maltose or maltodextrin, but can anyone confirm either? I did a search first but to no avail. Also, would it be a stupid idea to mix this with my whey protein post workout? Right now I'm using powerade with protein.
