What kind of exercises can improve ones horizontal jump?(all posibilities please)

look into plyometrics.
plus strong shoulders and a strong core will help

This is IMO more glutes and hams than vertical jumping.
So I would say other then conventional squats and deads I would agree with plyo's being the next thing to add.

look for programs such as air alert or jumpsoles. weightwise, squats, jump squats or whatever they're called, calf raises, hamstring curls, and doing sprints. but if you really wanna improve your jump i suggest you look into one of those programs. one website is www.jumpusa.com the other one i'm not sure you can look it up
Box squats, deadlifts, RDLs, Oly lifts (if you have a coach), box jumps and other plyometrics.

You could also practice.............horizontal jumping.

i would think that using a hex bar and putting some weight on it while jumping would help. doing box jumps might be benificial too, same with hurdles, but when you do them make sure you keep your feet together.
