i found out the total cals/fat/carbs/protein that i consume in a day:
1,850g cals
42.5g fat
215g carbs
167g protein

so my question is how many more calories should i be consuming in a day with my main goal of getting cut? I'm 175 lbs and I do cardio/weightlifting daily.

How much do you weigh? That seems like a cutting diet already!

Typically, you cut 500 cals of your maintenance level to cut. So that would mean 1350 cals for you. But like I said, that seems REALLY low! Maybe try taking off 200 first and see what happens.

1850 is already below maintenance for 175lbs. 1350 is way too low unless you don't care about losing muscle.

To the OP: Are you losing weight with those cals? How much cardio are you doing?

I know that 1850g of calories is not the maintenance level for a 175 lb man. I was asking if anyone knew what in fact is the maintenance level for a 175 lb man.

How much cardio are you doing?
3 days a week, HIIT 1 hour after breakfast (wind sprints)

I know that 1850g of calories is not the maintenance level for a 175 lb man.It might and it might not. That's completely dependent upon the individual. You're going to have to find your caloric level through trial and error.

You can check out this caloric intake calculator to get a general idea and go from there. I can almost guarantee you that eating under 2000 calories per day make you lose more muscle than you want if you are going to cut. I weigh 171 and my maintenance is about 2800 calories. I would aim for around 2300-2400....

Calorie calculators are crap. But I suppose getting a general idea and starting from somewhere...anywhere...is better than nothing. But again...you're going to have to find your individual caloric needs through trial and error.

I agree, seems very low. It is also well below average. Who cares? Everybody is different and if he mainatins on 1850, then so be it.

EDIT: 1850 is below the AVERAGE maintenance for 175 lbs...no one is average.
