Hey there

well i have decided to do my first cut, cureently my bodyfat is around 18% i weigh 180 pounds and have recently been bulking. buyt i have decided to cut down first, (to what % i would like to know?) then start back on a bulking phase
the thing is whats the best way to do a cut, my calories for the bulking phase was around 3,400 a day.

any advice would be great, aslo i take dextrose post workout should i cut this out after training while cutting or jus reduce the amount from 50g.

first you need to workout your maintanace cals if your bulking on 3400 this maybe around 2800 but thats just a stab in the dark you really need to work it out. then deduct anywere from 300-500 cals or 10-20%. Keep protein high and fats to 0.5 per pound of lean body mass as a minimum. Carb cycling helps some people but not others this is something you need to find out for yourself anything else just ask and read builts stickys the girl knows what shes on about.

my opinion is you cut until you like the way you look then bulk till you think ure to fat then cut again. All the time adding muscle while bulking and keeping hold of it while cutting. its all fun and games
