Where do I go to buy this stuff. I have looked several places around here with no luck. Any suggestions?

I would suggest any local health food store like GNC or something like that.

or you could use walnut oil, olive oil, etc. just check the back of the labels to see what the breakdonw of fats are.

I buy it from a health store in Athens.
However you won't find it in supermarkets.

It's sometimes called linseed oil.
Next time you're at the supermarket just look for oils with high amounts of polyunsaturated fat [say 50g+ for every 100g of oil] Flax is mostly poly so you can always substitue it for another poly source.
like Eric said, walnut oil is a good one. Olive oil is more monounsaturated.
